When shipped, it's about 10-inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. Cactus ships in a black, 4-inch grower pot. To help with water drainage, this container does have holes. Cactus is generally a slow grower, depending on environment and care provided.

Water Cactus with approximately 1/2 cup of water about once every 2 weeks. Ensure excess water drains. Adjust as needed for your environment. Never let Cactus sit in water or saturated soil. Boost growth in spring and summer with a fertilizer labeled for potted plants following the product's instructions. When Cactus outgrows its current container, repot by gently removing it from its container and placing it in a 2-inch wider container. Fill with potting mix and water thoroughly.
